Here´s another example of a simple piano piece. No velocity, played in my simple QWERTY keys.

  4. Please listen to this piece I recorded it from TV (sorry for the insects' noises):

Compositional techniques are apparent in it. Can not be made with just mere emotions. Great thoughts are behind that.

My fans get drunk as well. I drink maybe two times a year and when I do I like to go close to all-in.
My kids are ofc at a relative, even during the hangover. So yeah, I'm responsible.

When I rediscovered recording and at the time had $19 headphones, no soundcard other than that what was in my cheap computer, no monitors and a cracked FL Studio 7 that one of my students installed without me knowing, I input with the mouse every note, velocity and drum hit in this early piece I wrote on the piano roll. It took forever to crank it out but is pretty good for how silly it was to get there. :disco:

    Hey baby..;) Thank you

..but just to clear things up.. when I listened to your artwork I was working on some orchestral piece, where two consecutive intervals played by strings were longer then your entire composition (which BTW has nothing to do with "artistic quality" of either.. if such thing even exists).

It has a certain effect on peoples mind though. You start to listen to those notes very carefully.. the sound, the little nuances and so on. The brain becomes hungry for information. And when you work on something like that for a long period of time, it starts driving you crazy..

End of story - I just had to smash some keys. Why did I do it in that dancey-housey manner? Could do it any other way (can jump from Future pop to Ligeti in a sec). I (ab)used your harmony exactly, so there might be some of the same DNA in it..;) A cultural conditioned worm in your music? Don't have an answer to your question, but "danceability" it is not.

I enjoy (almost) anything creative you guys produce! And I hope you are not mad at me for borrowing your theme.. :mates:

As promised, about gear/software used to produce that tune:

    gear: M-Audio Keystation 49es...
it's very simple, still has a dynamic keys, so, it catches the emotions you put into your performance...
but it's a pure MIDI device, not synth, so, sound resource required...

Who can determine which sample library was used there?:winker:

  14. Unfortunately I'm not good at libraries.
