at start this was meant to be a a intro but i really need your opinions!
if i should make a complete track of it like it is! or short it down and go for the intro!

I'm not the Hardstyle type of gal so I don't know how relevant my opinion is, but I feel like it could use more growth as an intro.

I like that melody that you have with it, but I would try to variate the strings a bit with velocity to make the flow sound a bit more natural!
Also, layering strings with solo strings (separated violins, violas, cellos, contra) or different synths with inverted chord voicings as well as progressively implementing an underlying melody might help it grow for a huge drop!!

Let me know where you take this! It'd be awesome to hear the progress

I love every type of music!! I haven't explored Hardstyle as much though and don't know much about producing it haha

 

What makes this hardstyle? I can't identify genres these days, but it seems like film score orchestral. It might have more propulsion, assuming it is leading into a hard beat, if the strings had a staccato sound. The soft attack makes them lag behind the tempo, which isn't easy to identify at this point. Combined with the soprano melody, it's all quite languid.

 

@TeddieTalks the intro stuff went this way! hehe! i still need to find a fitting intro to it!

 

Love hardstyle! Your melody would work well. The intro in question sounds like it could be a chorus actually. I might go with your "make it a full song" as opposed to intro.

Vocals from Defqon1 Australia 2013? But it's a good thing to use these as inspiration and replace them with the vox from a new sample pack, Q has each year producer contests if I'm correct so that shouldn't be a problem. About the track, I assume it's still in progress and just a main idea so I won't bother about the elements that are missing at this moment, it sounds very good so mixwise nothing to add, let's see how it evolves productionwise My advice would be to concentrate now on the build-up and switch from break to that same build-up, always keep in mind how the dancefloor would react to the tension just before the kicks and melody start to rock. I'm more 'hardcore' btw and older hardstyle (like Qlubtempo) but I'm familiar with almost all harder styles.

 

The idea is to finally create my own vocals in a touch of defqon1 =)
yea the track is not really there yet! i will add more stuff to it so the true energy of a defqon1 track are there!
and some improvements whit the intro!
