Got my licenser in mail today. Seems to work fine but I had to run the licenser as admin. Anybody know if I always have to have the usb licenser connected to my pc?
If so I think I gonna buy something like this:


or maybe USB2 is better:


So I can connect that directly on my motherboard, and don't have to see that licenser ever again.

But don't you have a laptop @Daskeladden ? Fortunately they're still being made w/ USB ports. Mostly. I just put it in my USB hub megaextender and hide it. Until I need to go to work. I hate myself and Steinberg for it every time I see it, which isn't often. I also object to the microscopic power drain of the exorbitant and frivolous red LED, which kills dolphins, whales and polar ice. Albeit tangentially and pointlessly.
