after i have added my cubase 5 A. , vst plugin path to cubase 10 it dont start anymore, i always get the meessage at the start

cubase has an errror

close it or
search online for solutions


anychance to remove this cubase 5 path or i have to reinstall it?

 

Reinstall Cubase 10.
You can have both v5 and v10 installed at the same time.

 

Delete v.10 and install v9.5 and wait for a propper update of the v.10!

are you sure the vst's are 64 bit? What you can do is to just move the plugin folder to your desktop and try and open Cubase 10

 

alot of it are in 32 bit, i remember the thirst 3 times i opened cubase 10 , cubase was opening and all 32 bit plugins was showed in blacklisted vst s but now cubase only error after opening the icon

Lol, you're telling us you got a problem but you don't explain it to us.

It's like your're going to a doctor and tell him "ye, I have a thing going on that doesn't work and I need your help".
Doctor says "yey, what's your problem" and you say "yes".

Can you at least give us a screen shot of the error or write down the text it shows up?
Deleting some files or folders isn't the solution but there always is a solution if you give more information.

 

Cubase 10 does not support 32bit vst anymore. You will need jbridge.

Also not a good idea to add the whole VST folder, since there are a lot that are meant for Cubase 5 only.

 

Take a listen to the advices you get about not adding the whole path.. as said make sure that the plugins you add to c10 aint 32bit plugins. Most pluging have 64 these days and if it aint you should use a bridge for that. No point in installing 9 or 9.5 since 10's latest is very stable. If it aint working correctly then it mostly garbage in front of the screen and not on the hdd..
