    Go with essential oils and adjust according to music being produced. I have a funny studio ambiance story . . . I was recording an Irish female vocalist in a sealed booth. She was nervous, so I turned down the lighting and used a candle in the booth with her for mood and soft, low lighting. It worked for a while. The takes were much smoother and dreamier. But eventually, dreamy became lethargic. Eventually, she was nearly passing out, and I ended the session. Later on, I realized that the candle was sucking the air out of the booth and she was slowly but surely passing out en route to a coma.
