Meh me too, I've thought about it and decided the last thing I need is to learn yet another DAW I'd rather put the cash into a new/old synth cos I am a synth whore......

 

Phloopy its a bit late, but i understand you fill out all the onlineshop data (you need a user account at steinberg first) and finish the crossgrade order. U then need to send evidence that u are the owner of this crossgrade accepted Software. Send them a copy of the receipt u got in the shop, or online data, or a photo of the packaging box with the serial number. The company selling and collecting money is ASKNET a service company for Steinberg. This might confuse some people. I bet they dont really check and backtrack, use your imagination.

 

i just checked Steinberg and the online shop and it seems to still work with the 50% or even more with the crossgrade. I bet it was a huge success for them and they might have a 24 hrs extra for different time zones.

Changed my mind and bought it. Downloading right now. Probably not gonna use it that much but I guess this chance nevers comes again. I upgraded from Cubase LE which was a freeware when I bought the a Zoom audio interface. Never used it but I guess it spared me some money. With the activation stuff i paid $262. One question I don't have to download the 10.0.20 update right? Since the version I downloading is 10.0.20

 

Im curious what portion of the Cubase Hater Squad that shows up in every Cubase thread will disappear now that fewer people feel left out by pricing and lack of a full crack

guys, dont forget u need the extra dongle e licenser at 23 Euros or maybe 25 $ to run the online bought Cubase license. Once u hit the button to start Cubase pro it looks for the elicenser dongle.
the smaller starter versions like LE dont need a dongle.

 

I cannot even test it before I get the licenser

Damn. You're rly outta luck! If you're quick you could fast-track things if you write entschuldigung on ur order. To be warned though, it slow-tracks things drastically if you write gesundheit =( If you have chosen the Dutch language at check-out, they attach your order to a tortoise. And drop it from an aeroplane. Into the sun =) I think it took just over a week to arrive (EU) if memory serves. But I don't live in Holland.
