Alt-drag works.

Also what I wrote above works IF(!) you have "Show/Hide Automation" enabled on the track. e.g. you can copy Vol. automation and past it to Pan IF you change display to Pan..

Here is an example of Volume to Cutoff copy/paste as it works for now..

Great, so at least a workaround. Hope they fix the bug so we can copy paste as usual again.

 

Yep, both methods do work for me also. (OSX 10.14.6 beta1, S1 v 4.5.1)
But i agree, copy-paste between automation envelope lanes should work also but it doesn't..
Can't remember anymore if it did work in earlier S1 (osx) versions ..

 

F**k yeah people noticed the bug finally !!!

And @TaxiDriver in "show automation mode", what I call "pro tools automation" mode everything works fine, you can copy from one paramater, choose another one and paste it. Either way, I may start using that instead of lanes, lanes are my old habit from Cubase and now Reaper.

Also alt-drag works ok.

Just copy-paste between the lanes is broken. Worked on 4.1.4 though.

 

Hey buddy, don't get so upset.. it wasn't the only bug we were dealing with. And who knows, there might be others. Less than 24 hours ago you requested to check it and here are the results. Try that with the official support..;)

studio one 4.5 is no longer on az so i cant update with the .exe fix, too bad and as R2R are not showing there hand on this im stumped for now on 4.1.4

Maybe you can report this bug in the Presonus SO forum? They are very eager to solve actual bugs and problems.

 

I am not a legit user, it would be stupid me posting on their forum about the medicined SO lol... I'm evaluating it, I tried v2, and v3 didn't work for me, I couldn't finish a song in it... Just wanted to see if people have the same bug though

Ok guys, I don't want to look arrogant nor pretentious but now I must say it straight: I've shown you every detail on how to proceed for patching Studio One by using a simple tool (Compare It!). On my side, and despite my poor cognitive functions impaired by age, I discovered by myself how to reproduce this R2R patching method - no one showed me what to do.
So after what I explained here publicly, how is it possible that you ask me "some instructions" instead of comparing the previous original version of "Instruments.dll" (Presence XT Editor) side by side with the patched one of the same version so to know which binaries must be changed?
Shame on the Internet generation...

Got it.. no biggie.. Totally understand the frustration.. 70 new "features for free" (10 sort of useful), who-knows-how-many new bugs (also free..;)), one or two requests users wanted for years. I guess, it's just not so popular making stable, reliable SW anymore..

 

If you use Compare It!, binary differences are enlightened (Menu>View>Next Diff or F8 or Click the downwards blue arrow icon on Menu's toolbar).
The "Help" (F1) is also very... helpful.
As we say in french: Sortez-vous les doigts du cul !
