Does anyone else have this problem? When reloading a project with the instruments saved, they don't play back (it's as if the plugin outs were muted on some instruments).

It's strange because this only happens for some of the instruments in my project.

Kontakt 4.2.2 via Reaper x64 (note this doesn't occur in FL Studio).

 

probably a problem with reaper....dont have that problem in sonar

 

the samples are still loading? does an error message appear?

If it works in FL and not Reaper then it probably is an issue with Reaper.

 

No problem in Live 8 either.. with 4.23. *no*

 

Ive had this problem in cubase, sound cut out on one channel then never came back, definately recieving midi etc but just not hearing it. ive also had a problem with battery where when i reload a project theres no sound. ive learnt to keep bouncing to audio and its saved my ass plenty of times

 

I had a similar problem in Reaper x64 with Kontakt.When I opened ASIO4ALL in the task bar then went back to the project the sound came back.It was some kinda driver problem.

 

how do you mean opened up asio4all? did you close your daw and then open asio4all first? be good to solve these little niggles. ive seen people posting on native instruments website with the issues ive had and they've never been solved. its the only thing stopping me buying them at the moment because its obviously a problem with legitimate versions too.

 

I think what he means is he clicked on the Audio Device Settings on the top-right corner, selected WDM, then reverted back to ASIO. I will try this. Thanks for your comments!
