Maybe a stupid question

    Taking advantage of the 50% discount, I bought a license of Cubase 10 Pro.
    As is well known, once the dongle is inserted into the computer and the license is activated online, we can install and use Cubase on any computer, without the need to be online.
    My question is, is there anything that prevents that dongle from being cloned and used by anyone?
    Of course, I do not mean cloning the dongle by software, but rather an integral, electronic cloning

    The sole purpose of the dongle is to prevent software theft, so yeah, I'd most certainly think you'll find it very hard to duplicate :p The dongle isn't a normal USB drive. But hey, what are you waiting for, why not give it a go?
