UAD will honor your 2nd hand purchase of all the plugins if they do get deleted. Though they may say don't on their website. They have great customer service & aren't a bunch of corporate assholes.

 

Do you record drums, vocals, guitars....any real instruments? Then you'll need good outboard gear. That's expensive. Incredibly expensive. Apollo interfaces give you all that gear with Unison recording capabilities and if you get out your calculator and build your ideal channel strip, one for drums, one for guitar, one for vocals....all as hardware, you'll see that UAD is a far cheaper alternative. The error in judging the entire potential of the system is in removing single plugins and evaluating them on their own.

 

since I do not play live, I just mix than that might stand up, I don't know.
