Its a free track we made just for fun. We are not making any money off of it so it should never be a problem ;)

Your voice isn't copyrighted... there's no infringement for using his voice... there is infringement for using the audio from whatever film or interview because it is copyrighted material...

    Who told you that ???
Is there some higher more personal rights which protect someones personal life?
What would you say if someone takes a record of anything you say and makes a record of it ???

Think again..., maybe it isn't legal and you have to have an O.K. from the person using his voice.

Well, I've taken a class that was about copyright in the media, and a lot of the material was about copyright law... you have no obligation to the person who's voice it is, only to the creator of the source material... I think the sample came from beyond the wormhole, so in order to clear that snippet/sample he would have to ask the permission of Discovery/Disney... Think about it, the people who sue for copyright infringement in sampling cases aren't usually the artists... because the artists don't hold the copyrights to their own music a vast majority of the time...

I also made an assumption though... This is US copyright law I'm speaking of, possibly in your country you can copyright your voice, but in America you can't

m2314 is correct, you have taken a piece of audio covered by copyright. It's not yours, and it doesn't matter if you "don't sell it" you can't just put that out in public without repercussions man. Oh it's a good track by the way, very nice work ;-)
