I'm trying to make a percussion sound but i don't know how to make it or where to look for a sample

at the intro there is a roll of sort of a shaker or something like that.
that's what i want to achieve. can you help?

Sounds like a reverse snare that’s been layered with a clap.

Somehow this reminds me of an African percussion instrument I once heard, but perhaps my mind is making it all up.
