soundcloud & copyright

    hi Guys..

    Last night I wanted to publish my remix (DADA LIFE REMIX) on my soundcloud staff, but problems Copyright by soundcloud and universal music (quoted from the website).
    My remix has been removed!

    I continued the dispute, explaining my reasons in the proper form, explaining that it was a contest (led recently by personal DADA LIFE), which I parteciped, etc. ...
    But the resource was locked ...

    Now I have to ask, as do other artists to easily upload their remixes of other authors (then covered the same copyright), or even to load MASH-UP of two or more pieces elapse without this kind of problem?

    From top of my head, check out the rules of remix competition, maybe they stated that they have copyrights and you can't publish and distribute bla bla, so basically you made that remix just for that contest and you can't do nothing with it except enter that competition and your work is their property :wink:

    One possible scenario btw :wink:

    Soundcloud and Youtube are made for own stuff, not for uploading others' stuff.

    remix competition or not, other artists no have problem to share more and more mash-up remix...
    or all, or none, that I think, and as strange as what...


    pffff
    something of my own, it can also be "reinterpreting" something other, and WITHOUT PURPOSE OF PROFITS, why not to share it?!?!?... my little consideration :dunno:
