Hi guys,
I am looking for a step sequencer with adjustable steps! I want to be able to customize steps(Step length) so it can even be uneven!
Does anything like that exist? Is it possible to do such thing in Kontakt?

You can adjust the step length (gate) with this plug-in. It's a really useful vst, I use it all the time.

I don't want the sequencer to act like a gate but rather offset the start of the sample!

 

Hmm, okay. Sempler Pro might be something you could use? https://isotonikstudios.com/product/sempler-pro/ It allows you to set a different starting point for each sample. I'm still fairly new to sequencers so I could be totally misunderstanding things. :D

 

Your description is lacking detail but maybe Sugar Bytes Egoist is your thing - a sequencer for quickly chopping audio into slices and sequence them, all in a fast and accessible 1-page layout.

 

why not a Harware Sequencer like Arturia Beatstep Pro ?
i own one and will never miss it !
