I recently had waves complete installed, but wanted the newest release, so I unistalled it and deleted all remaining folders. I went to install the new version and now the plug-ins wont show up in protools. The only plug-in that shows up is sound grid and I'm able to use the plug-ins through there, but none of the plug-ins are in the drop down menu. After deleting the vst files and the protools plugin pref and rescanning and trying everything in the book. I decided to go to the release right before that one and the same thing happens. Now I'm frustrated and just want to go back to me old version. So I unistalled that version and deleted everything and went to install my original one and guess what? the same damn thing is happening now. Can someone help me out please. If anyone has any clue what could be happening I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Also I did instal revo unistaller just to make sure everything was gone of the program and that doesn't help.

 

Try to reinstall pro tools

 

you have to be carefull using programs like revo, it can remove files and settings that you need if you are not carefull,

 

I'm going to try to reinstall protocols again. It's just weird that the soundgrid shows up, but nothing else...
