How different is the Mac iLok ( code ) ?

    Well, the overall system will be the same (ie, how iLok works, and encryption and other methods used), but the actual software binaries will be fairly different.

    What I think you're really asking is why there seems to be PC-related iLok defeats, but less Mac ones, and the reason I expect is likely more due to the people involved were PC guys, and no-one wanted to do (or had the skills for) a Mac version. But it could also be that the PC defeats use techniques specific to the Windows platform that don't work on the Mac, so it's a harder problem to make a Mac version. Possibly also there *are* Mac versions, but they haven't been released.

    Only the people directly involved will know for sure...
