I am looking for a multi FX outboard unit. I've seen the Boss SX-700 and, even though it's old, it seems and sounds pretty good from what I've read, watched and listened to. It seems to be virtually identical to the guitar-focused Boss GX-700, only with stereo inputs for studio use as opposed to mono guitar inputs. I read somewhere that they apparently still use the same circuitry and processing in Boss flagship multi FX pedals to this day, such as the Boss GT-100, though not sure how correct that is?!

Does anybody have one of these? How are they in person? Any good?

Yes they are good if bought cheap but I much prefer the Lexicon MPX1 over it.

You bet it's old. It's from '96. Be aware that with time some components become faulty.
