    I would be interested in seeing your configuration of the MIDI editor. Maybe someone can screenshot it?

    I still use the default theme btw.

    sry not want to hijack the topic or something, but maybe it will be gamechanger to somebody Reason 10.3 is finally a usable one (VST performance issue has been fixed) and if u feel the look of your the current DAW is a blocker maybe worth to try the other R one too

    same reaction seeing reason. i've tried most daws in my time but this is the only one i avoided because of it's look, i wouldn't feel comfortable making sound effects in this mess.

    Hydra is probably the smoothest theme out there but i was already too accustomed to Default 4 to switch definitively.

    yepp but it's controlled mess which can be used your own advantages > in Reason the chance of the happy accidents are super high when u create fxs, it (factory presets bank) contains zillions fx chains and their combinations with zillions presets ... but it would be a different topic if somebody interested worth to buy the http://www.reason101.net/shop/ book it contains all the basics and much more
