Some time ago I started making music for movies and now I am looking for new libraries.

At the moment I use the following:

• Symphony Essentials: Brass, Percussion, String & Woodwind (Ensemble)

• Sample Logic Trailer Xpressions II

Which ones do you use? (please also write the mood you use it for)
Do you know a library that would complement mine well?

you dont have any spitfire audio or orchestral tools stuff....thats crazy

 

Which ones do you recommend?
I've already got my eye on Orchestral Tools Symphonic Sphere and on Spitfire British drama toolkit.

 

Take a look on spitfire site… depend on what type of movie is

 

Get only what you need; you already have overlapping content.
Maybe a choir (8dio, Strezov, Cinesamples, Soundiron are all good, Spitfire also have a choir, but it's too expensive) and solo instruments - see Sample-/Audio-modeling.
Maybe ethnic instruments - Tarilonte's stuff is excellent - https://samplelibraries.com/products/

I recommend you to check out Output Analog Strings and Analog Brass & Winds and Heavyocity Novo and Forzo, and Fluffy Audio Dominus Choir, the best choir library out there (forza ITALIAAA)

 

These are garbage, imo.

 

-I wonder why you don´t have any SonicCouture libs added - they´re the very best when it comes to sound design and extremly useful imho.

-Also Spitfire Audio has a new serie called Studio Orchestra which is without all the usuall reverb most orchestra stuff normally is "infected" and therefore much more tweakbly for your needs - could be usefull as well.

-Try out Embertone as well - they have great libs that can do brilliant things for you.
