    Hy Guys!

I have a little problem here using Reaper v.5.973, DM-307 in Windows 8.1 PRO. and I would like to count with your expertise to solve it. Here it goes:

I created a pattern on the DM307 Grid. And the problem is: I want to record this pattern in Reaper, but I need to record it by pressing the Bb negative one (Bb-1) key only once (without holding down the virtual keyboard key).

1 - If I turn on the Key latch option and not hold the key, the grid notes are not recorded, just the first touch on the keyboard key.

2 - If I turn off the Key latch, I have to hold the Bb-1 key (of course), but this causes the previous original pattern to reappear (I believe it appears crossing the pattern I created). If I insist holding Bb-1 key, before reaching the middle of the pattern, I hear bass notes overlapping, then the sequencer stops, the track becomes mute and the midi becomes completely chaotic with what seems to be a mess between two patterns, one created by me and the other is what I imagine to be the previous one (from DNB1 Kit - Da Curve - 166BPM).

    How to solve this?

Also, I send a Zippy link (https://www102.zippyshare.com/v/51I7G5J3/file.html) with the Reaper file created in version 5.973 (I don't know if I configured something wrong) and the grid pattern created by me saved as a snapshot in Kontakt 5.8.1.

Thanks a million for your help guys!

I would IMHO trash the software and get ableton, pro tools or something, its way better. Reaper is aimed for the beginner bedroom producer so it can be assumed its not that great

I believe this problem is usually caused by "a number of interrelated malfunctions that are generally confined between chair and computer"! :dunno:

whazup @teach me plz... I hope everything is fine with you. So far I haven't been able to solve my little mess. About your last post, when I replied to your comment, I didn't specifically refer to you, but to me and/or any Reaper user (for what you wrote, I imagine you aren't a Reaper user). So, thanks to everyone who is trying to solve this problem, including you pal. I just wanted to make this clear, ok?

    Cheers!

Because with a statement like Reaper Is a beginner bedroom producer software you just showed us all that know, you are a moron. Reaper is the best keep secret and I left Cubase which I think is way better than ableton, pro tools for reaper.
