There is indeed! It would mean to change the ranking number for each library in individual .plist files.
I've already explained it somewhere on a Kontakt release comment section on sister site.
On mac seems even easier than on pc, though, as you don't have to dig in the dangerous regedit territory. Rather in Preferences folder.

Sure, plists in queston are those in Users Library/Preferences but my understanding was that Ted was looking for an App…
A plist editor would do indeed or even Text Edit but, if you have lot of Libs installed, is faster "drag'n scroll forever"

 

I agree that having a detailed tuto on how to install and use inNKX and Total Commander would be very useful. I have tried lately and didn't have any success neither with both mentioned.

No, unfortunately TextEdit doesn't show this type of document correctly, so you can't modify this with it. I recommend TextWrangler that is free and works great.
But any of the solutions are time consuming. Even with the Library Manager in Portable (windows version) it would take time with so many libraries. In Kontakt 6 you can search by the name of the library, so it's also an option to get to the one you need quickly.
The most practical would be creating a Quick-load list, and that's also time consuming.

The truth is, it's possible to create an automation script but I don't see advantage in it. Asking the user to type the name of the library and the order number. It takes as much as go though the plist files. And you can't just define the order number for one library, if that number is already used by other, you need to change the number of that other library, too.

I was searching for .nicnt builder kind of thing. I have a lot of library without picture (I add them as selfmade cuz the auto detection dont detect nothing...)

Is there any way to do what u've done with Jeager library ? (the file in the first post)

You can do it with Total Commander extension inNKX but it can't be automated (yet). I'd recommend you to try innkx with the typical use, packing samples into nkx files. If you feel comfortable I'll explain here how to do it.
