IMHO by a country mile the biggest threat to humanity is the short-sighted avarice of myopic self-serving elites. Nearly all the other disaster armaggedon scenarios, with the exception of environmental (which is the product of human 'progress'), is pure profiteering, social engineering and/or fear-mongering.

We have maximum 20 years before total environmental collapse and noone gives a fuck.
Maybe it's for good. The only species that "benefit" from current state are various parasites, some insects (like cockroaches) living in the cities, rats, cows.
Mass extinction and new beginning. That's how I see it. (The is bacteria that already adapted and can consume the plastic in the oceans. I wonder what kind of species will evolve and inherit the Earth after we are long forgotten. )

Maybe the wild evolution will be reversed...Untill the wild will live or is born again, billions years later...Untill some new kind of human race is enough "advanced" and slaughter everything,as we do todays...

Well, this is a very important data. For most of us it doesn't matter if we care or not about the earth after we die. We hardly can make a good/bad difference.
The powerful people make a big impact, and a bad one. And they don't care. If human lifespan was only the double I'm pretty sure things would go better on that matter.

One thing's for sure: "eat shit" won't be an offensive figure of speech for them...
.. ahem, sorry, couldn't help myself

    agenda brainwash.....
organic and wild acriculture can feed tripple amount of peeps..climate change is just a few percents...the big altering comes from artificial weather...
do you have a link...further it dont need to be new stuff...working cycles will decompose it faster then a fckt cycle , also with microbes along otheres...further a handfull living soil habbits more microbes then humans on earth...humans are so lobby brainwashed...all arteficial fertalizer is poison...and normal farmers only learn bout chemicals
BTW they cleaned birds from oiltanker catastrophes completly and relative fast with effective micro-organismens (EM)too...its yeast bacteria, photosynthese bact and 2 lacto bazillus's

nature is no chaos..nature is perfect...but humans are so lobby brainwashed bla²

microbes are our best friends but ppl kill everything so bad stuff have huge habitat

shit is no waste....it belong to the cycle...

a organic farmer eats no shit...but a meat eater nowadays eats tons of it

but ppl who working with cycle are sort off off gritters ...they dont buy bad products o mass
lobby brainwash is against that...chemical lobby is humans biggest enemy..its pharma and agriculure lobby too..
maybe we could change world fast just by stopping buying to much chemical products..
funny how ppl wondering about allergien or cancer or other sicknesses when at same time they eat chemical, paint their skin and wash with chemicals at best 2 times a day, drinking plastic water, living in pure elektro smok bla bla
but ppl are so brainwashed they come and say after my essays here : i want sell stuff..lfmao..
and things bout the micro universe they take as fraud e.g...structured water

I was talking about the shitter shit, the ultimate shit that will send humankind to hunt dinosaurs to the after life.
I don't know if there'll be 70 female virgin dinosaurs for each of us to hunt though...

The way i see it, as a composer/producer I have been dealing with cold hearted machines (record labels, clients, executive producers, budget lackeys and even the audience) for many years! So bring it on you automated composers!!!!!

I have to bring up my beloved "The Policeman's Beard Is Half Constructed" by Racter, as an example of how by AI created Art has evolved since then (1983). In my opinion, the basic summary would be, in using the artificial output as a source to create something relevant by filtering and rearranging it, or even tearing it apart. Without that, the output mostly couldn't stand for itself. That hasn't changed much since then (the author of Racter did exactly that with the texts the software emanated), although processing capability of computers has been multiplied by several powers of ten since.
The Levi Niha Video from above is a very good example for that. So Levi Niha wouldn't lose his Job or career in the business (I really don't know who he is or what he does but he seems to have experience), but on the contrary, by adapting and using the so-called AI software he finds new ways to create his kind of tracks.
The process Taryn Southern (a so called pop-artist) made her album "I AM AI" is described in this article : https://www.theverge.com/2018/8/31/17777008/artificial-intelligence-taryn-southern-amper-music
(there is also a YT documentation there) where AI seems to be at least for her more than a tool, but as she admits, she is no musician and has barely more knowledge of music theory than major and minor chords.
Music as published in the media and heard by most people today is basically a small part of a bigger concept consisting of a rather large set of rules and definitions, beginning with physical ones and ending with - and there would have AI its limits - infinity. There is, for instance, no definition of the length of a musical piece, theorethically, a track - even hip hop or rap - could last seconds or hours or weeks or years instead of around 3 or 4 minutes.
But in a time where most of these productions are rather exchangeable and are rather difficult to distinguish, there is a place for sophistic algorithms to generate some hope for industry executives, who always think in numerical differences between investment and revenue. So this could become a thing in the future. But as this indistinguishability and phasing will grow with it, human musicians and composers will find new concepts and ideas and sounds to break that cycle, which is always the human way, to reinvent him/herself.

Interesting presentation (and one has to wonder who these despicable machines are being built to target...). Yet the guy doing the presentation plainly cannot discern the enormous difference between machine-learning/data-mining analysis software and truly cognitive, self-aware synthetic intelligence. Actually i think he can, but that's not his agenda, Brenda. In fact the only ghost in the machine i saw during the presentation was the spook speaker himself, selling a fetishistic, industrial-military 'shock & awe' book - in other words, marketing fear for private profit...

Hm, you are the one in denial.
Even if we say that climate changes are part of long term natural cycles, wildlife extinction, desertification of the soils, deforestation and pollution cannot be denied even by the greatest optimists.

About the autocomposing AI - if AI becomes really intelligent/thinking like a real human (having some sense of real consciousness), stealing musicians/composers' jobs will be the most harmless thing it can do.
So far we have not seen any real AI, everything on the media is just hyperboles and marketing hype.

Spot on, we often are too busy trying to win the discussion about why a problem exists and too lazy trying to resolve it.

Well, because AI is nowhere near human intelligence. But with the brutal increase of computational power and, especially, of data the big ones collect and train AI systems with, old AI designs can be applied since only a few years. And it's powerful but it has dangerous problems.
In any case, deep learning is a more suited definition. Deep meaning a shitload of data and computing power for training.

Well, call it "shittier shit" if you like... :hahaha:

The major problem with AI music is that:

(Hardware + Software + AI) developers don't understand the music. How do you expect that their made endangered species could be replaced with the man-made ones?

If they were able to understand the music, they would never mass-produce those tools and didn't allow others to use them for the creation of stupid music and genres.

Oh, they do. And they know its power. They just can't play it themselves! lol
