Hey guys, I'm having this trouble with the R2R keygen,
When I open it, as administrator of course, I get the error that you can see in the first screen, then, when I put my computer ID code from ezdrummer 2 in the keygen generator and click on the button to generate the license key file, it gives me another error (see the second screen) "#error38". I turned off my antivirus, but there's no way to fix this issue... Could somebody help me, please?

Immagine.png Here's my first error when I run the program.

Immagine2.png This is the error that i get when I try to generate the license key.

Turn off your Antivirus and wait some minutes or restart your PC, then turn off the antivirus and then run the keygen.
When a file gets detected as virus (in all of R2R's keygens a false positive in my opinion), it gets locked down from accessing
and that takes some time, even if you turn off the AV.

R2R's keygens basically are small NSiS installers which "install" (extract) the necessary files (music, keygen engine, keygen modules,...)
into the Temp dir, where then the actual keygen gets started.

Your antivirus probably just deletes or locks down one of these files, which then leads into the keygen can't find/load them anymore.
My AV always locks down the respective modules. If you turn off the AV and run the keygen again immediately, these file are getting
extracted into the same temp dir, where your AV still locks the file from before (for security reasons, if it really would be a virus).
That means the keygen still can't extract/overwrite the needed file and gives the same error.

What you can do without waiting or restarting:
-- this works because that way you manually run the keygen in another/not by the AV locked folder --

1st, of course, turn off your antivirus ;)

Get 7zip (I use 7zip portable) and open the keygen as archive (7zip handles nsis installers like they would be *.7z archives).

Now extract or drag & drop the "$TEMP" folder from the keygen and open it up.

    [IMG] ---> [IMG]

    Then run the included keygen.exe.

What sort of stupid answer is that, he's allowed to ask that question here and did the right thing by doing so.

Hi Jack, you need to give more information, what OS are you using?

He's not linking Audiwarez; thus, no fowl.

Not cool being a smart-ass like that..

He's using Windows 10. You can see it at the thin window frame, the peaky corners and the close button of the error msg boxes.
That's a typical Win10 design feature (if one calls that "design").

But in most cases the os isn't a neccessary information to solve problems as there weren't much changes
to ms windows (in the important parts) in the last 10 years. But that's just my opinion.

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for your answers.
I solved the problem restarting the system after turning off my antivirus...
Actually, I noticed another problem, but I don't know if I can talk about it in this thread... Anyway, seems like my groove music app and windows media player, can't play .wav files. I formatted my pc in these days, so I don't know if is right this the problem or other stuff. :dunno:

    Seems like?
What happens when you try to play a wav file? Do you get any error or is there just no sound?
    Maybe there's a codec missing.

It gives me this error message

    Immagine.png

In FL Studio everything works fine, so I doubt that the .wav file is corrupted...

I don't speak spanish or italian or what that language is but it seems like the format of the wav file isn't supported.
Download MediaInfo and load that wav file into it.
Then post a screenshot. Maybe it really just is a missing codec.

It's italian... Anyway, how can I help you posting the screen? I mean, once I loaded the .wav file on the program, what kind of view option do I select for you? Right now I'm on the basic view, but there's so many...

If you Antivirus detects the keygen as a virus :
-- instead of reboot (we dont have all day) or waiting (always too long anyway) --
right-click your AV icon in the taskbar and deactivate your AV
right-click your AV icon in the taskbar and reactivate your AV
right-click your AV icon in the taskbar and deactivate your AV
    Run the Keygen
(works with AVG and Avast - and probably others)
    Enjoy !

Haha yeah, it's ridiculous how everybody knows like every plugin from personal experience (unlimited money!) and is like "I bought all the shieeet" and has never ever heard of that sister site. And if there's releases on said sister site, how, it is of course by concidence, threads pop up soon on KVR and videos appear on Youtube about the same software which just got released... etc... It's, because of concidence, suddenly everybody buys the products!
Solution for sleeping well: Dual boot Windows where Audio production Windows can not see the other Windows disks, can be a bit tricky to set up because Windows loves creative drive letter messing. Also, network adapter turned off and/or Windows Firewall, allow Firefox only.
A pleasure to run keygens in this ecosystem. Would never trust keygens otherwise. In a past long ago, I had a virus which attached to any executable it could find, as a kind of wrapper, super nasty. Don't want to have this happen again.

Yes, it's not a wav file, it's an ogg vorbis file, named as a wav file.
Image-Line does that often with their samples to lead the users into believing it's a quality sample
and/or maybe to prevent the users from using the samples outside of FL Studio... who knows.

Mainly they do it to reduce the size of their products. I just don't get it, why they don't just keep the *.ogg
extension and so being sincere to their customers.

To get these samples played correctly, you have to rename the extension from .wav to .ogg.
I also can convert all the samples for you (renaming to ogg and then converting into real wav files) if you like.
Just takes a minute or so.

OK, even if you didn't ask for it yet, here it is:
    Packs (real wav) FL11-20.1.7z
    (357MB packed)

The archive only contains the converted fake wav files. All remaining files like fst patches,
wv samples and real wav samples are not included as they already are in your local packs folder.

Since I have almost all versions of FL from the past 15 years on my PC, I was able to
compare the packs folders from each version and the one from 20.1 is the same as in all versions
below 20.x until FL 11. FL 6-10 had other packs folders which also contained some fake wav files
but also real wav samples. From 11 on there were almost only fake wav files and *.wv files (WavPack codec),
which is a lossless compressed format like flac (thats good).

I converted all the fake wav (ogg) samples with an option to keep same sample rates, bit depth, channels and tags
as in the original files so there shouldn't be any error when loading the converted samples.

When comparing sizewise, the real wav samples take over 800mb of disk space while the fake ogg wav's only
take 200mb so I'm sure they did it to decrease the size of their installer.

Just unpack the packs folder and replace/overwrite your packs folder from your FL installation with it.
When finished, you're able to play all samples in every player and DAW.
