Soundbanks for VSTi that use actual synthesis to generate sound do not classify that VST plugin as a ROMpler. Maybe do some research before making these claims.
The reason sylenth 1 didnt work was due to a Microsoft update, future updates allow Sylenth1 to work, I had the same problem, now with the latest win 10 updates it works fine.but I guess you knew that
vst in common is effects...vstfx nobody uses but term vsti get used plenty the question and terming : vst for edm is not dumb at all...no no ...i am and evo are totally dumb yea but what you then..

yea we all shape zebra presets around or to our sounds... since you quoted him in this post ..you do arguing with him too partly ...just btw...but maybe i am to dumb
What I meant by my statement is the thing you can use Sylenth1 as a ROMpler (using pre-designed patches), same as you would use nexus. That is not even the point of the whole story. Point is the guy asked for VST, and that includes ROMplers and Synths, but they came acting smart, telling that ROMpler (in this situation Nexus) is not a VST. It's funny that someone insist to say that Sylenth1 is a ROMpler because it has presets. Or it's funny that someone compare Hans Zimmer to him to giustificate the use of preset. Or it's funny that someone don't understand the difference between "RECORDING" orchestral samples and "CREATING" orchestral samples. Or it's more and more funny that kids target himself "producer" without knowledge and write this: But ehy, I'm stupid and dumb.
