Interesting, why didn't the OP geta clear awnser?

So here we go, let me ask: Clipping in what sense?
I ask because some meters nowadays show inter sample peaks / true peaks,
the reason is because these simply matter.

Ozone has a true peak function, but I do add another +-0.5 db ceiling in addition.

If you already like the gain proportion of the instruments in your mix you can do a global gain stage.

On the right-hand side of Ozone 8 there are two I/O faders. The one on the left is the input, and on the right is the output. As long as the output fader is set no higher than 0.00dB and you have the Maximizer plugin last you won't see the output clip.

Global gain stage:
If you see the input signal is clipping you can lower the input fader until the input is no longer clipping, and lower the threshold on the Maximizer by the same amount only if you want to make up for that reduction.

The Maximizer has "brickwall" algorithms. Once your input is no longer clipping.. even if you have the ceiling on the Maximizer right at 0dB you could lower the threshold until your song sounds like mush before you could manage to clip the output.

I did get a clear answer, if you read the edit in my op the description of my problem was too vague...It's all sorted now though, no need to worry
