Synth Pedal Steel

    Anybody how you'd go about emulating that cool Pedal Steel guitar sound from a lot of country songs.
    I don't want something like Wavelore , or any other sampled Kontakt Library, I want it to be synth sounding but have the same qualities of the classic Pedal Steel sound.

    Not me. I just recorded a real pedal steel instead. One of the coolest instruments ever (especially with a talented player giving it a 100%). :)

    this is not a software problem, never heard a library that mimics well.
    Its a controller problem, with a simple ribbon controller you can get a monofhonic taste, but seaboard rise can give you more.
    Its a also a technical skill, like the real instrument.
    I sugest that you start with good real time controll34w like faders, buttons, ribbons and pedals.
