Ok, it may be confusing, so I took some screenshots for better describing. Once I made notes and wanna change it shorter or longer, the gap between the notes becomes messy like below:

But I wanna make the gap at once as same as before like below:

What should I do? Thanks in advance.

You have to change the grid from, I think 1/8 to 1/32.

You simply have to change the way the notes "snap" into a defined raster. You can also press shift while shorten the notes then it's not snapping anymore.

My tip is, recording it with the real instrument! It also gives your music more soul

The thing is that I can't afford it now. I live in a shelter and am provided a 2 square meter room. Can't play any instrument here. What I can do is using my laptop with midi keyboard and headphone. Even using monitor speakers is not allowed here because you can hear even tiny noise from your neighbor.

Ok, thats bad. Because MIDI always sounds like horse shit. What you could do then, is move to FL Studio, i think it is better than studio one.

    Best,

And this is quite enough to create seriously good music - as long as you have MIDI keyboard you're good to go. I have both 88 keys and 25 keys and I'm probably using 25 more of the time to play the parts in.
