Midi controllers for Max/MSP and M4L

I have the cash ready but I'm in a dilemma. I need a top-notch midi controller that I can use with Max 8 (standalone) and Ableton 10 Suite's M4L, those two are pretty much all I'm using right now, other than one or two VST's.

At the moment, I have a Push, it works well but I'd like something with more than 8 encoders/knobs. I also really prefer something with an LCD screen that will show my what parameter I'm using and it's values. Besides more than 8 knobs I'd like the controller to have many banks so I can switch over to other sections easily. I'm not really going to put a cost on it, it's worth whatever the price is if I can get a more tactile feel with software. All suggestions are welcomed b/c honestly, I still have a lot to look at...so maybe some suggestions could speed up some things to add to the list or cross out.

Isn't that the Push? Probably the best you can get right now. Wanting one myself...

Yes, the Push maps parameters pretty well in Ableton. But I'd really like more encoders, at least 24. :) I wonder if Faderfox can do a custom build with LCD screen. That's probably my best bet. Also, Push is horrible for Max standalone, all you can do is trigger a note...that's it...need a controller for the standalone as well....maybe I'll email faderfox, their controllers look really nice...not sure they can do lcd screen stuff though.

How about something built in Lemur? Do you want REAL physical knobs and faders?

Never heard of Lemur but that could be an option after I briefly looked at it. It needs to be "hands-on", no mouse I guess I should say. Good idea if Lemur gives me plenty of hands-on control. I'll look into that now.

Yes. :) I keep looking at different possible ways to control things but I keep coming back to this or similar. :D I heard they are very well built...that's a huge plus for me.
