    Hi there,

I wanted to download something, but as you know there's a limit of download size with regular account.

I am hoping someone would be willing to download it and then maybe upload it to oboom and provide me with link?

the file size is about 5gb.

    Cheers.

I managed to find couple of "premium link" generators, but they don't download folders.

Thanks for the tip anyways.

An easy workaround would be to import the file to your free account and use megasync software.

But I'll still have to download the file and the Download limit is 2 GB for the regular account.

Can you confirm if that works with the above constraint?

    Cheers.

I swear I just downloaded a 4 gig file from mega using Chrome. I know Firefox won't let you.

In Megasync you can synchronize folder in the cloud to any folder on your computer. I know nothing about limitations. I've just uploaded a large file (> 3 Gb) through megasync without problems. I don't own a premium account.

    So try this:
    - copy your file in a separate folder in Mega,
    - install megasync,
    - synchronize this fiolder with any folder on your computer.

Yes both of above answers are correct. pre v57 Firefox has limited functionality in Mega cloud and with Megasync, you can selective sync a folder.
