Just so you know I am an advanced IT person. I was going to disable the updates but I wanted to try it with all the updates and especially one that is coming for the unlimited plugins Not that I am having issues with limited plugins.It just would be a nice thing to have.
I am not saying that it would or would not work with out the updates. Just stating a few issues I had with it, to try and help others.
It was really easy for me to flop over to my other ssd drive with win 7 x64..

Yes I know really hard to determine. WIn 10 Has tons of updates and most shit does not get fixed.

 

It's no problem. I also tried the latest and greatest. Since from what I read the LTS version will end soon.
Really mind blowing though. Since I honestly thought by now MS should have a very stable version and all the kinks out.

Win 10LTSB here, the only thing that I would like to avoid is automatic updates function without warnings, blackbird seems to make many other deep interventions on the system, and this scares me a little. Am I wrong?

i guess on win10 they will push it that way : if they recognize anti telemetry and customizing shit out behavior , they make it worse

 

I use the Game Booster feature of Ashampoo WinOptimizer linked to the process names of my DAWs, such that whenever you start a DAW, all the background crap gets switched out, and when you exit the DAW it all gets switched on again, automatically. Telemetery you don't need to worry about unless you're running a hokey windows version.
