    Im trying to use all this electronic musical software and hardware to create rock music. Not EDM or techno, just rock and roll. Is anyone else doing this? What programs and vsts are you liking? What are your methods?

    copy/pasta from another thread (4years ago, but this should point you to something)

    Guitar samples - Shreddage II or Shreddage, run in Kontakt 5.
    Bass samples - Shreddage Bass.
    Amp modelling - Guitar Rig 5 or Amplitube.
    Drum samples - ezdrummer with either Metal Machine or Drumkit from Hell.
