Ive run the keygen and successfully patched the files. For whatever reason my Daw does not offer Spectrasonics as an option despite the initial startup line (where in runs through all audio units) it appears? Any assistance would be highly appreciated!

 

Which DAW?

 

I use Logic and Maschine. Neither one has Spectrasonics available for selection.

 

It sounds like it is not in the area it is looking.
I would find the vst file and put it somewhere you know it is checking. If Im missing a vst in Cubase (but should be the same on other DAWs), I always delete them out of the directory, then open Cubase (without it there). Then put it in the correct directory (so it flags as a new vst that has just appeared, because it wasn't there a few minutes earlier) then open Cubase again with it there. That method has worked for me with missing vst, for the last 15 years

 

Make a sub folder (Named Omnisphere) inside the Component folder & put Omnisphere.component inside that folder.

 

I think it has something to do with the installation process. It only took seconds for the instller to say "finished" with all disks mounted.I know its supposed to take a long time.

 

If you can´t install Omnisphere then you don´t deserve to use it as yet. Try Sylenth or Massive.

Most probably your Stem folder has nothing. Did you check your STEM folder ?

 

The steam folder from the main dmg is intact and in application support/spectrasonics but Each dyn-somni.iso 2-8 has its own steam folder.?? Im using a macbook and downloading to an external hard drive if that could have anything to do with it.

 

Can you right click & Check the size of your STEM folder ?

 

Little more than 7 gigs.

 

Naah ... it supposed to be 55-60 gb. Then there is something wrong with your STEM folder you didn't install all 8 or 6 iso. Do it manually, open each ISO & put files or folders stuff inside the STEM folder. Look the picture below... it should look like this with same path & folders.

 

Yah thats what I thought was wrong, but when i Mount dyn-somni 2-8 then run the installer it doesnt install them. Again im downloading it onto an external hard drive.

you have to mount all 6 disks at the same time in virtual disk software like Gizmo

 

you can mount the discs one at a time, use power iso

 

I found a technique to surpass this. Install Omnisphere software then go mount first iso copy to STEM Folder then second iso to second STEM folder..... repeat this with all the iso... do not replace any folder or file. In short you are manually installing all the ISOs. This technique works 100%

 

How do you mount a disk to a folder within it? When i mount the disk normally the Steam folder pops up but i cant drag the dmg back into the folder.

 

Not having a problem mounting the disks. Once mounted the installer doesnt install theeir contents properly.

 

Mounting them with the default DiskImageMounter on a macbook would'nt suffice? I was originally gonna use Daemon Tools but u can only mount four discs at a time.
