Apple just dont stop..

    So basically if you have a USB audio interface those Mac's are basically useless.
    Example here:


    Lets see if Apple can redeem themself with Mac Pro 2019. I seriously doubt it. Probably gonna be old technology overpriced. They have to come up with something better than this:

    ofc not, nVidia is dead for Apple, and Core i9 with non-ecc ram is too mainstream for Apple too xD

    because merging mobile apps with normal OS stuff went so well for MS? but lets see if Apple can pull it off?

    Half of the Windows 10 crap Gui doesnt work, because it was build for mobile/tablet users, the old parts work perfect like control center, but the settings app doesnt open for example for like 30 minutes when you change something.

    but i can understand when you sell more egg-phones (not hating here ...), then a few Macs dont count and you want to merge the worlds into one world. would do the same ...
    but i guess this maybe wont reach Logic X, Logic X app?! how should this work for the iphone?

    im thrilled to see how apple will try to make this work and maybe they get it done?

    iOS API are great, apps will continue to be very powerful, problem is memory.
    Apple ditched OpenGL so even graphic apps are in danger. They are trying the adobe flash thing on some technologies.

    As a self confessed one-time-fan-boy of anything Apple, I now hold little faith in the company's visionary ability. They are the tech equivalent of "the unsinkable Titanic" and they don't even know they are surrounded by icebergs.
    I am still happy with my maxed-out 2015 iMac and I'm never let down with Logic. But I have invested a lot in peripherals to makes its life easier. Thunderbolt Quad Apollo and Octo satellite, external drives are SSD via Thunderbolt.
    But for the first time since I bought that machine, I have the feeling the next Mac I buy will be my last. I wouldn't be surprised if they try and merge desktop workstations with some sort of iPad on steroids and that, is not going to work for me. Event typing this was a trial. Correcting typos on three point type with fingers and thumbs the size of a small moon is a mind exploding thought should it crossover to music editing. Give me the sharp precision of a mouse any day.

    People not only using macOS because of Logic X. Some prefer macOS over Windows even on a non Apple branded Hardware.
