Signal is definitely better than Running (composition and mix). The break at 2:24 in Running really needs getting used to.

 

thank you for your feedback and for listening carefully! i thought so, maybe i should rework the track to make it more enjoyable. but i love the break somehow hahaha. Why do people hate surprises in music? ;)

 

That's all that really matters, so leave it in there.

 

Thanks for sharing your music. I agree with @No Avenger that Signal is better. Both on mix and arrangement. However, I do like the brake in Running as it serves to break the monotony of the track. I get the feeling that you were inspired by the break in "Information Society's I wanna know (what your thinking)." I will try to give the break a little more air, less saturation, and maybe add some chopped vocal FX but I will definitively keep it. I would try switching the section @2:47 to the beginning of the break and at the end of break have a 4 bar section with just the piano and synth before returning to the body of the song.

 

I like both tracks and opposed to the views mentioned above, prefer Running to Signal... even the mad break! But, maybe it goes on for too long!
