and the fact that this here is the point of peak specs for me for audio workstation , had woke me up on that...i surely can still wait for more price decrease too..
im on i7 2600 sandy bridge...really good one ...was lucky..didnt kno it as bought..8 gb ram....small ssd system disk and 1 tb hdd...
i will upgrade with just 500 max 1gb kingston ssd's...so i end up with max round 3 tb storage and system

    ------------------------------------------------

maybe with win 7 it runs smoothly..win10 is a compatibility bitch...and that after we got this whole compatibility hassle behind us for a few years in common..
.dunno if adapters are the way to go

does somebody have experience with thunderbolt adapters ?

should work with every mobo ....
at the moment that would be my way to go..cause i can buy it later and can save up money

is needed i guess...so we would have to buy the 400 $ MOBO...makes no sense :dunno:

just youre choice and later upgrade the thunderbolt card seems best at moment

Actually you're right, you might not need 650w... but somehow that's a sweet spot right now. You get the best price / quality ratio on those products that sell best, and 650 is quite mainstream right now. I googled a little, seasonic got a little more expensive and be quiet a little cheaper, so i guess it doesnt matter what you pick. It might be possible that seasonic builds your corsair choice, they do a lot of oem work.

Yeah it might be a good idea to startwith the intel grafix for now.
as mentioned, i never benched the shared ram issue for the intel gfx.
and there are alot of people saying that they dont feel an performance impact.
both, intel or nvidia haven't much to do when they scroll a timeline...

The better cpu is twice the price, for 20% more performance.
when i bought my i7 8700, it was the only affordable 6core.
now there are i5s with 6cores.
the most important thing about a computer is the pricetag.
those bastards age faster than hardcore punks :D

Totally true for frames per second benchmarks.
it's just hard to find benchmarks that show if using UHD 630 has impact on the cpu itself. They share the ram and therefore the connection there.
it might be a neglectible performance impact because of dualchannel ram, and cause most time jump predictions guess is right and the data the cpu needs is already cached.
if anyone has a link to a benchmark site espeacially concerning that issue, please post it, i'd love to know more aboutit.
