I bought a fanned fret 7-string a while ago to try the entire fanned fret thing for more than five minutes. Liked it a lot. But the color of the guitar was...well I didn't like it. So plan a): sell it. plan b): do something about it. But what?

As I don't own any airbrush gear and also don't happen to know anybody with said gear I went for visible brushstrokes and it turns out that both paints really work better with some structure. Result (music for people who can't stand silence):

Liked it enough to modify a pickguard too.
