when you buy latest i7 or i9 you set for long time...imho you set forever when always take care for clean fans and stuff

    Thanks
i'm still using a Delta 1010LT but might build this p.c to use with the slate Raven. but i'm still deciding on what i REALLY want to do. i might get the Raven,Cubase, build a new p.c, upgrade my current p,c,get the Acoustica audio Bundle.I'm still not sure yet. I know i'm definitely getting an MPC X but i'll check this board out. As long as i can use over 3tbs on my main drive,i'm good.

I would probably go for a Asus board because of the easy to use bios, since Asus Z390-prime has been mentioned I would probably buy Gigabyte Z390 GAMING X which is cheap and has a thunderbolt header. I will not recommend any motherboard for music production without the possibility to add Thunderbolt

Running Mac OS on non apple device is called a Hackintosh.

The integrated GPU on your i5 or i7 should be well enough for everyday usage and even light gaming. That guy is trying to rip you off!

Agreed with wasgedn - if you need a lot of synth power i7 might be a better call

Is there a mini-itx version of this case? I'm considering to go mini this time. A silent mini case would be awesome.
