Studio One 4 was a big deception and crash a lot . Another big deception was that many request by users , are ignored (just to mention one , Komplete Keyboard MK2 trasport still not integrated ) . We want to sell , but we ignore users ... Good policy ... Keep it up guys ...
In the mean time I switch to Ableton ....

I've been using ableton for almost ten years, recently got to studio one 4... ableton is a child next to it, people are cheering because they just got shaped automations in there... your complaint is actually perfectly tailored for ableton, the one you decide to go to, hah.

G'luck with that. SO4 is extremely stable for most of us, you'd better look under your hood.

 

yeah you probably f-ed it up yourself, try uninstalling and reinstall fresh or set it back to default settings if possible

 

4.1.3 Works Perfectly smooth here. Legit on win 10 with all the updates. No hiccups whatsoever.

 

It works like charm, no problems.

 

Reinstalled again. Still randomly freezing. No changes in the hardware, no changes in the vst/i configs. Just the updates from Billy Boy. No one else got this problem? All my other daws (legit Bitwig 2.4, legit Cubase 10 pro, legit Reason 10 )are still working fine...

 

No problems at all here with 4.1.3 on latest W10 using many plugs on 3 yr old computer with a $99 soundcard.

 

What you say is a nonsense and not the truth.Presonus is the only DAW developer who listens his customers.On their site their cstomers can make requests.A lot of Ableton users leave it for Studio One.
And S1 is ultra stable,you will surely get a lot more crashes with Live.

 

Your problem is your update from Billy the kid.

 

For fun I tried a couple of the last releases and those have been unstable. Since it's stable for some it probably depends on the Asio driver, but that is even stranger since I have a Presonus Quantum. Maybe it has something to do with adding stuff to the host file if your online. I was online when I tested it. By the way I presume people talk about the cracked version......

Not true for me at all. Ableton is much more stable on my updated Windows 10, and I have the Presonus Quantum that is basically made for Studio One

With Live 9 I had many crashes,I don't know with v10,I don't use it...
S1 4.1 works well for me,except last week I've had a big crash,I've lost my project;most of vstis lost their current presets.I had to search in my documents an autosave,and I had to reinstall S1.I don't know why it crashed like this.

I'm on Win10 Pro,offline.

Actually not. REAPER developers are the first who listen user requests. All others come after it. I have legit S1 and REAPER and zero problems with both.

 

You mean for most, surely.


I'm using legit online, check the forums regularly and the large majority are perfectly fine with stability. Most issues i see on the forums are minimal and concerning really specific stuff.

 

Anyone running S1 4.1.3 under macOS Mojave on a Hackintosh ?

 

As a legit user, never from V2 to actually v4.1.3 had any issue, on both, windows 10 and Mojave.

Check the internet in how many topics was requested the Komplete Kontrol MK2 , and how long ago ...
Maybe they listen , but this one is a miss (like so many other requests )
