presonus should have functions like this baked in....

 

It is not a useless pursuit. You came asking for a solution, and you got it! Look at it the positive way. You had members here that went out of their way to help you. Time is precious. Dont make us feel like we were wasting our time.

 

I also think PRESONUS wasting our time... simple things like this they should already implement it natively, such as the fullscreen thing....they knew everybody like studio one X...thats one ego of PreSonus I hate so much... they never wanted to give the very simple thing what their customer want and need. I don't know why they pressuring their own customer. Unethical business practice?

There's a reason and a history for S1 X's discontinuation. A sad one. The developer, although he's Presonus staff, coded this tool out of love for free. But users in presonus forum bashed him with the usual suspects:
- You're the worst it has bugs!
- Implement this and that yesterday!
- How can you be so slow, I payed a lot for Studio One!! [Remember, this was always free]
- Mac version please (oops.. wrong thread )

Well, the guy got burned and stopped the developing. I may be wrong with some parts and some folks here sure know better than me but the essential is right.

 

Does anyone know how to get this working on mac also? I stayed at 4.1.1 because of this nolonger working.

Ok, let me try to sumarize, I wont to understand well before proceeding. Momo "Experimental Software" contains three folders:

• the first one, "Documents" contains "Macros", and I suppose it is destinated to C:\Users\your name\Documents\Studio One

• the second one is "Studio One 4", and it is obviously directed to C:\Program Files\PreSonus

• and finally, the third one contains "Trackactions".......what is this for? and where we should put its content?

 

@Pereira there was no info with the Trackactions folder so am not sure eader sorry,
but the other two are right on ,p.s is not my experimental software just the way to get it working again in 4.1.3.
will try find the download page for Trackaction ,there was a link shared on the studio one fourm to where it was posted.

you could try what we did on windows and replace the ccltext with the one from version 4.1.1

 

what are you talking about.
if it was a solution i wouldn't be on here bemoaning the fact that it DOES NOT WORK.
so don't get all out of joint. i don't expect a reply from anyone who thinks they would be potentially 'wasting their time'. if someone tells you something does not work and your solution does not change that fact, don't bother sending bitchy little responses that serve no purpose but to antagonise people. it seems to me, judging from the number of posts you've made on this thread, that you are the one who is wasting their time.

I got it working on mac! Right click on Studio One App and show package contents copy the old ccltext.framework from /frameworks and save it in your S1X folder for future then update replace the package files as normal then replace the new framework with the older one you just backed up job done.

Did anyoneever get the mixer settings to work in S1X on mac I could'nt get the mixer to save any mixes

If it doesn't work for you despite the instructions, we can do nothing else.
