i would like to get more information about the crucial plugin developer who are on the edge of plugin development of newer seen before tools & pushing modelling of iconic gear to new boundaries.
Severall come to my mind like Urs Heckmann (U-He), Reimund Dratwa (Black Rooster, Fuse Audio, heard he did stuff for Plugin Alliance), Tony Frenzel (Klanghelm),
Xavier Oudin (Xils Lab, Eiosis, former Arturia), Fabrice Gabriel (Slate, Iosis),
    Alessandro Boschi (AA, Nebula).

Please add on, these guys deserve some light to be shed upon them, at least in a place like AudioSex!

Share interviews if you can, i would like to get more info about those coders.

I do not know for what

But: Friedemann Tischmeyer with MAAT Digital, Markus Medau with Ploytec and the three heads of Leapwing Audio are the first in my mind :dunno:

I find it interesting to get to know the guys behind the plugins, google the names for interviews to get to know which direction the route goes developmentwise, gain some techy insights maybe.

Pigments was developped by one young newcomer at Arturia. (with a help of the crew of course)
If you understand french you can search at Audiofanzine's website.
The guy have been interviewed by AF at the NAMM show this year. (vids are on YT)

(sorry I don't have the links at hand, and I feel too bad for searching today.)

Also, as Bob Ohlsson said recently, doesnt matter what are these new brandnew algorithms, its quality progress etc, modern techniques, it is all about programm dependent, material dependent.
Btw nowaday plugins are better than older, but some old stuff still may be better than many newer ones. I m not speaking about better GUIs) bit i agree with Bob.

...but different plugs and projects are likely to come to mind at any given time.

    Interesting read :

    https://blog.native-instruments.com/u-he-the-essence-of-awesome/

    Quote (about Satin):

Satin is not based on a particular tape machine, but on old books from old German companies that contain so much old, unique knowledge about this kind of engineering and how to create these effects. Stuff you can’t capture with convolution or normal software methods. Many of the tape emulations out there get things wrong. Most tape emulations distort more as the signal volume goes up, but real tape actually distorts more when the signal level is lower. Of course you can completely overdrive tape – we all know that sound. However, the really interesting effects happen to quiet signals: Most tape emulations don’t take that into account.
