    Does anyone know what Avicii used for strings on this song Talk to myself, strings at 37-40 seconds.

    We all talk 2 ourself dude...however they ain't real strings...catchy tune tho...maybe you should have made more effort 2 ask him rather than minions? Why it also important to your current project?

    You can achieve similar with octave unison runs (with Kontakt libraries) and apply shitloads of reverb.

    Thanks for your responses. I see it says that Avicii used a library from Kontakt for strings on his equipboard page.

    I have this kontakt library for disco strings.



    I also have session strings for Kontakt which has motown falls and motown glissandos for this type of sound and it sounds great. If that's what Avicii used then I should be able to get a similar sound.
