The new features in Live 10.1 include:
    • User Wavetables: Musicians can now extend the capabilities of Wavetable's oscillator.
    • section by importing their own wavetables or any sample into the device.
    • Channel EQ: A flexible and simple EQ with curves and gain ranges suitable for a variety of audio material. The shape of the filters adapts based on how controls are set to always provide musical results.
    • Delay: Combines Simple Delay and Ping Pong Delay and adds feature upgrades. Ping pong behavior, as well as Jump, Fade-In and Pitch controls from those devices are all accessed from the front panel.
    • New automation features: Musicians get a palette of automation shapes to choose from.
    • the ability to stretch and skew automation and enter values with their numerical keypad and easier access to clip modulation in Session View. Live now also detects curved movements inside automation and can merge multiple breakpoints into C- and S-shapes.
    • Improvements to zooming and scrolling: Live 10.1 makes switching between detailed views and big-picture editing faster with streamlined keyboard shortcuts, pinch zooming on compatible computers, a resizable Arrangement Overview window, and more.
    • Track freezing with sidechains: Freezing tracks that contain sidechain routing is now possible.
    • VST3 support: Live 10.1 now supports VST3 plug-ins.
    • Export return and master effects: Musicians now have the option to export single tracks and groups with return and master effects applied.
    ...and...

Live 10.1 is free for all owners of Live 10.

This is what Live 10.0 should have been. Let's see if they can catch up with Bitwig (feature wise).

They added so many small improvements also, like the ability to set how many lines to scroll at once in the control panel, and the "S" key that now soloes tracks instead of resizing them, which shows they're really listening to the community. so much love for them

Actually, you have. For now, only the BETA version is available, and it's the one you can use.

    Known issues with Live 10.1b12:
    • MIDI internal routing/busses with VST3 instruments is still missing
    • Saving Max devices to the User Library might crash Live
    • Deleting specific VST3 plug-ins from a set might crash Live (e.g. all u-he plug-ins, Softube Modular)
    • Lots of Translations and Info Texts still missing
These are the things that we are anyway working on. You don't need to report them.

Yea I never use the beta versions lol. I'd rather wait for a stable release. 10.0.6 still hasn't been released by R2R which sucks for some peeps cause it fixes a lot of bugs...

Woww nice update this time !
Studio One inspired Ableton's developers,it's obvious.
The Zoom feature would have been done years ago, same with vst3 support.
They have probably lost many customers to do that, because usually Ableton's updates are ridiculously insignificant.

I think the problem with "deleting vst3 plugins might crash Live(e.g. all Uhe plugins,...) " comes mostly from Uhe ; the Uhe vst3 versions are buggy in some others platforms too , and more generally all vst3 plugins are more buggy than vst2.

On my computer I've deleted all my vst3 plugins , I don't want them anymore.
