I originally downloaded the latest R2R version of Ableton 10, everything went smoothly, I followed the steps, had no issue authorizing. However, I closed and reopened Ableton, and it asked me to authorize again, so I tried using the same 'authorize' file, but it did not work. I also tried generating a new license file, which also didn't work. I've now tried uninstalling, reinstalling different versions, etc.. all are having the same issue. Is there something small I'm overlooking here which is causing this?

 

You have auto update turned on in preferences. Same thing drove me nuts until someone told me. So its updating itself to a new uncracked version everytime you reopen it. I think it's probably 10.6 check it.

Uninstall, reinstall the latest cracked version, and make sure auto updates is turned off. It'll stay off though, even when you install future versions.
