Good stuff, sounds abit silent hill-ish in parts, its weird (in a good way) and has nice transitions
if i was to categorise it would be score or ambient
keep it up

your question about FL or Sonar
it depends on what your more comfortable with
personally i use sonar 8 about to jump to Sonar X2,
but a lot of people use FL to so my advice would be to
try both and see which one you think is better
and remenber any Daw is a great Daw in the right hands.
