Hi guys,
I turn the snap to grid off and put timebase on samples then select my audio clip and Alt + Left/Right Arrow. But the problem is my audio jumps a specific amount that is not set by me. I want to for instance nudge by 25 samples or 10 or even 1 sample! How can I do that in Studio one?
I did try Shift + Alt + Left/Right arrow, but it does not work and the combination of Shift + Alt shows Zoom icon instead of selection cursor!

 

Well I know how to nudge by sample what I am asking is how I can assign a keyboard shortcut to it so I can nudge audio or midi clip by specific amount

 

yes by creating a macro with nudge and you can specify the ms. then you would go to shortcut and assign to what you need it to be

 

Can you explain a little bit more? How can I make a macro for nudge?

 

i actually have 2 made that i assigned to my nanokontrol 2 if you really cant figure it out i'll send you the one i wrote.

open up macro organizer . (If you dont know how to , open up your shortcuts option and search for it)

 

But still I cannot determine by how much the studio one should nudge.

they took the function of adding value to certain macros on v4 so you'd have to manually do it open macro folder & find the nudge macro you've created and change to this

you can edit the macro with notepad++
