SureBytes - Unique V1: Glitch?

    Dear Community,

    I am running SugarBytes Unique V1.5.2, on the Dave Growl preset (factory preset), I get inconsistent volumes. the waveform is below.

    I had few options to remedy this:
    1. render, use one section that you like and cut and delete the rest
    2. use compressor with a fast attack and slow release and some make up gain to achieve more consistent volume.
    3. find out what is going on.


    The compressor trick has definitely taken care of the signal being inconsistent, but what you think is actually causing this. Cheers.





    PS if you guys know a better way to attach pictures, feel free to share.

    Play with the SPREAD knob, then also disable UNISON.
    It's normal behaviour.
    If you slightly detune oscillators, you get the typical "beat tones" and by adding unison, you get even more of the "beating" which is exactly what you're worrying about.

    it's because when you use unison,the synth use (at least) 2 voices.
    The spread button "spreads" the stereo image but on many synths it detunes the voices also.If you detune too much you get those "inconsistent volumes".
