I made this recording when all I had was two channels in an old crappy computer and an external mixer. I made the video a couple years later because some people don't listen to music without pictures.:dunno: Just a bunch of GIF's and photo's thrown together. I'll do better next time. I've been sick for a couple years, but recovering and getting better all the time. Starting to get motivated and feeling creative again. Thanks for all the support I get here. Peace.

So epic! 2 channels? It must be the routing through analogue devices and a special set of skills that makes that mix so fat and juicy. I'm a fan of the style:bow: Hopefully there is more where this came from, glad to hear about the health improvements also! Cheers

stuck listening on crappy laptop speakers 'coz i'm currently homeless.
    love the vocals.
    stuttered guitar thang is nice.
nothing much here to find fault with,
    a 'proper' song.
'nothin to prove' just about says it guy.

Thanks so much. I ran the drums as 8 channels on the mixer but had to mix it down to two. Then all EQ that wasn't going in live in the mixer had to be done on a stereo track with no way to to adjust relative volume, etc. I spent a lot of time in the studio before VST existed, so I picked up a few skills. I have a few more songs on my soundcloud page.

Even more impressed, can't believe you were able to get a mix that sounds that clean using 2 channels... Respect!

I like this track, enjoyed listening to it a few times now.

And yet it's one of the better productions I've heard here, nice snare btw.

Maybe I should clarify a little. I did have Adobe Audition version 1 at the time, but no interface. So the external stuff had to go into the audio input on the computer, through the Realtec audio card in one or two channels. (drums, bass a couple keyboard tracks). Everything else is samples and loops either I made or that were available on Audition at the time, but I chopped, sliced and diced up the samples to my own devious purposes. Mixed on some cheap Yamaha stereo speakers. I have nice things now, but it doesn't always make for a better song. Thanks everybody for the wonderful compliments.

    Very punk.

Good luck with that health stuff. ;)

Crikey, you have some classy kinds of homelessness.

Good luck with that too, been there myself: it's quite the bitch. Hope you get sorted soon (if that's what you want).

Very nice one! Like your style of music.

    Btw. a funny fact:
The rhythm in your video "Bang on the Drum1" exactly fits the repetition rate of your profile picture.

yep, really homeless really reals... 3 months and counting... and after only 16 years in the same place.
    landlord difficulties yadda, yadda...
But i can do everything classy :winker: (I wish)
trying to get sorted, with a li'l help from my friends.
    it is what it is.
it takes a toll on the health.
listening to good music, like @rhythmatist helps take the edge off.
    But thanks anyway man.
