why is all my wallpapers i download too large when loaded to kontakt

 

What version of Kontakt? And when you say "too large" do you mean the entire graphic or the main logo/title? Earlier versions of Kontakt had limited viewing space as compared to the later versions. Kontakt 6 has the most viewable space available thus far.

But this (believe it or not), was the original standard for earlier versions of Kontakt:


As compared you can see that the word "Space" in "Convolution Space" has no room using an earlier version. These examples are all using default settings. Do you have any examples?

im using 5.6.0
so i download a wallpaper in the forum and when i load it to a folder and launch kontakt, the browser wallpaper is cut off where the image is too big so i have to resize. but i cant find the right size for it. and what do u put for resolution in image

At the moment I'm using 1920x1080 computer resolution, and using Kontakt's default. With the version your using, you should be able to see the necessary logo/heading of a wallpaper, but never the whole wallpaper as it was created, (as per my example). All wallpapers created here should work great with your version. Can you provide a screenshot possibly?

EDIT: Nevermind, our posts crossed. The wallpaper your showing won't work without a manual adjustment. Take a look at where my example "logo/heading" is compared to your example. It can be fixed though.

 

i did if you click thumbnails you can see how it shows on my screen. im on 13'' mac book pro

 

how do you fix this? i downloaded wallpaper for exhale, newmello 1, new mello 2 and they are all to big it seems like and cropped. i would like to fit the original images from the forums to fit perfectly.

 

I adjusted the original. Try this one ...It adjusts to the default settings without changing it. Good for a test:



All's I did was scoot the logo/heading over a bit using a graphic editor like Photoshop

Absolutelly right. And in my opinion all should be available libraries. Respect anybody who buy a legit library with no wallpaper, but ask for a library the rest of people can´t have access it´s a fault of respect for me. The own developer should include wallpaper (aren´t we talking about Kontakt? What happens with wallpaper? What happens with 8Dio or Spitfire?). That´s reason enough for me not to buy a legit Kontakt library. If I pay 50 or 100€ I want the wallpaper made by them. I´m paying for it.

I had the luck of downloading Sonokinetic Ostinato Woodwinds for free in Christmas because @phloopy adviced from that and I just connected and had time enough for downloading. One hour later it as at 50% discount but not free. But in this case is a powered library, no need wallpaper and the most important, Sonokinetic is blacklisted on the sister site, so no releases from them there. I couldn´t publish.

And if we talk about people that get wallpapers and NICNT (much less) and don´t give the minimal, thanks or "Like" (all) the others are unuseful), you and me would be alone here. But as everything on this life, we will not be here the rest of our lives.

That´s the question. Movement is already recorded, but know just the instruments used for recording (and effects) is the key. .

 

Kontakt 5.5.2 -> 635x98
Kontakt 6.0.2 -> 533x98

 

That wallpaper was made for 635x98. We talked about this several times. It´s out of reason that developers from Native Instruments reduce the left GUI for wallpapers when every time computer screens are higher and introducing 4K, for instance. My mixer monitor is a 28" 4K and in highest resolution with two dedicated VGA cards for every monitor if you open Kontakt on that screen in 3840x2160, you need a telescope for seeing Kontakt. If three or four years ago we used 24" screens, we are using now 32-38" screens.

And for me, this new stupid detail of expand right side of the library on Kontakt 6 libraries is simply that, stupid. I don´t need that and it´s not an useful option for me. Native Instruments are playing to many dangerous games at the same time, but they don´t live only from Kontakt. They can do whatever they want and as many other companies like Magix, they ignore users complains.

But we are not buying their products so... Who is the loser?

whats previous PP006 Ricotti Glock then ? it is even discontinued and now are within the latest Ricotti Mallets Library .

completely bullshit what you are saying there , you know already or didnt wanted to learn that there are an difference between Kontakt and Kontakt Player Librarys . and you would not even buy anything as you dont needs this because of your collector hobby . and this adding to kontakt player window hobby dont even work with an legit version of kontakt , only for people like you which uses an cracked version of kontakt .

user complains from people which dont buy any products and are an warez user ? many companys would not even read and look at such complains .

 

The only thing I´m absolutely sure like Kontakt Grand Master is that I´m only the second most hated on this forum. This is like when you win 3 Champions League soccer on Europe. If you win one, UEFA gives you the original one during a year and later you must return and club creates a copy for exposing on museum. You have the most hated cup in property forever. No one contribution here. Sad man, sad life.
