Those who express it best give you a sensation that can be characterized by a kind of goose bumps that take you into the body, arms up to the top of your head ;-)

In my case, I work no thinking about the synth I´m using. As collection is huge, if I have nothing to do simply open a new project and inside Samplitude VST synths list I get the first and check sounds. If I find some combination I like, go to record and sooner or later I´ll get it again for check if "inspiration" continues. But yes, I love Tone2 arpeggiators. Specially Rayblaster, so limited but it has a preset very close to my favourite dance song all times, Infinity from Guru Josh, and I´ve used in a couple of projects because I love it with a fade out included or playing with pan. You become mad :P

Just curious too because collected all presets I found with Serum and Massive. In the first case, 35.000. In the second, 66.000. I have no life to listen all, but it´s my hobby. And it´s a long time I stopped downloading Serum and Massive presets. Enough !!!!!

I don´t like specially Battery from NI. It should be a refference for me making techno (I call techno everything, from trance to EDM), but after check most of the kits, I had to do mine piece by piece.

@NYCGRIFF knows that since I discovered Hans Zimmer piano I don´t use other, specially with delay incorporated, perfect for me (not pianist) for maintain notes just for a continuated presence. I find other pianos are too sharp including sustain, but as I don´t need other and if I want to do some day something approaching to techno-pop, it´s also a great option. And also I have an old keyboard Yamaha PSR E-403 with 300 presets and what I thought would be the worst, the Grand Piano all keyboards incorporate, is perfect for making eurodance.

Yes, if I´m not missinformed (sure somebody advice me :D) Spitffire has created it´s own engine out of Kontakt, Hans Zimmer Strings for instance, you can see on YouTube. And as I don´t see here or in other scene sites, they have done right like reFX with Nexus and people from Steinberg. We have software like HALion or Groove Agent only because they allow us to have. People want Cubase Pro, not Cubase Elements, for instance. It´s Spitfire Audio, one of the biggest, not Atom Hub or Loopmasters. So if they (Native Instruments) apply the same canon to companies that don´t spend 300.000 USD in recording a piano like Hans Zimmer´s one, it´s evident that people from Spitfire can contract the best developers they want and break out with Native Instruments. Or for instance all stuff from Vienna. We have Symphonic Library, but not Symphonic Library II, not Synchron or lots of other products from them. It´s not only the New Year concert on Vienna and Radetzsky march. They are all the day on studio recording. Only have to take a look to the web site to see the amount of products available.

No, excepting Philharmonic 2 and outside Kontakt, there is no other dedicated orchestra. I mentioned SD3 because it seems the reference nowadays, but personally I like more Addictive Drums on first version. And yes, that´s the difference between Kontakt and the others. You have libraries for everything. If there is a library (Foot steps) that is just that, the sound of the steps of shoes and inside the library you can choose between 25 or 30 different shoes...) simply Kontakt has no competence. At the moment. The only limit of Kontakt is the number of libraries can be registered with SNPID system from 5 version (over 4.300, I didn´t arrived to that number but close to) and with the new system from 5.6 version you can register libraries with P, Q, K,S, so these are at least 4.000 more if you can only play with P25, Q87 and can´t do for instance PE5, something I didn´t check). But is demential to have 4.000 Kontakt libraries installed. so what I do is to get empty Service Center folder and if I need strings I get 25 or 30 strings libraries and Kontakt loads in 5 seconds. Everything depends on the project. Also Sonivox have good orchestral sounds and if you pretend to create a full orchestral project with 120 tracks, you can´t record 50 instruments at the same time. Not at least with Kontakt libraries, for instance. Only in a project with (at the moment) 55 tracks, you look at task manager and Samplitude is occuping 17 GB RAM. And you are in 4:30 of the song and at least there will be other 7 or 8 minutes, so you have to go movement by movement, record, bouncing and copy paste WAVs to the original project. Will be nice if I´m able to finish.

Better I don´t ask more wallpapers by the moment...

I have doubts with the NICNT file of a couple of libraries not sure if I have the libraries, but I´ll take a look when time permits.

Yes, of course, and yes, of course, I remembered we never talked about your favourite piano. That´s the reason because I asked you via @LightSound. Suppose will have all Imperfect Samples collection then. The most I like from Alicia Keys piano is Alicia Keys
If I have to choose one from NI, I remember a good sound from New York Concert Grand. But this was on Prehistory.

Sometimes I do like you, take a synth and see with an inspiring sound arp or texture or other and embroider around by combining with other sounds ...
But I found that Omnisphere was a bit my favorite for sounds and how to play with ...
It is true that for many synth, there are so many sounds proposed that could spend more time in the sounds than a piece.
    It's very pleasant ...
I heard the Piano Hans Zimmer but did not try it, it looks great, but in memory it is a little less.
I know that Spitfire have released a synth with their own engine but for the rest, I did not know, I'll look at that with Hans Zimmer Strings ...
More than 4300 libraries for Kontakt, it's crazy !!!
And you tell me that you did not get far from that number, I understand better when you say:
"You know, when I sleep I dream with batch-resaves."
    It's PHARAONIC !!!:woot:
You have opened a hard drive store.
yes, I do songs with many orchestrals and other instruments but I imagine that the computer can row and if lack of power can be embarrassing when the song is very rich in instruments ...
I have this problem with multi in omnisphere
In pieces, Entheogenic, Shpongle, Ott, Infected Mushroom make rather cool songs.:wow::grooves::snuffy::bleh::wink::excl:
