What is the best audio editing software in the world?

    Sounds cliche but I'm asking for a friend with no limits on amount he can spend. He needs it to be really fast.

    I disagree because it (ironically) has issues with many different VST plugins. If it works for you though then good! :P

    I think in the first place it's based on what your friend is trying to do with it, what he likes and which system.
    I am on Win
    Recording/Mix/Master primarily on Pro Tools, which I prefer for my workflow and sometimes a little studio one + Samplitude
    Beats: In FL Studio

    And even if I'd like to, I could not rund Logic without turning my pc to a hackintosh.
    So it all depends on your taste, your needs, your system and your tasks.
